Additional resources for identifying private funding sources include the Duke University Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations and the Duke University Medical Center's Office of Foundation Relations, as well as the Development Offices at the various Schools at Duke. These offices have special relationships with many potential sponsors and you are urged to contact the appropriate development office before approaching a foundation or corporation.

NOTE: The Mary Duke Biddle Foundation now requires submission of all Duke-related applications through the Duke University Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations. The internal deadline to apply for a Biddle Foundation grant this year is May 1, 2006.
