Synopsis
The NIH* electronic Streamlined Non-competing Award Process (eSNAP) is a component of eRA Commons that allows PIs to submit an electronic version of a progress report to NIH*.
When an NIH* grant is "subject" to eSNAP, PIs must use the web based application in eRA Commons to submit their annual progress reports. Whether or not a grant is subject to eSNAP is indicated in the NIH* Notice of Grant Award which is sent to a department and PI* and is reiterated in the ORS* New Award Notification that accompanied the award notice.
