January 2008 Awards* Rachel A. Total funding will be $30,000 over 5 months. Srinivas Aravamudan of the Franklin Institute has received an award from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for a project entitled "A.W. Mellon Foundation 2008-2011." Total funding will be $469,658 over 44 months. Philip N. Benfey of Biology has received an award from the National Science Foundation for a project entitled "Vision 2020 for Biology Workshop." Total funding will be $36,322 over 12 months. Scruggs of Civil Engineering has received a CAREER award from the National Science Foundation for a project entitled "Control of Vibratory Energy Harvesting and Energy Constrained Systems." Total funding will be $400,000 over 60 months. Martin D.
