John D. Albertson of Civil Engineering has received an award from the University of Alabama for a project entitled "An Optimal Merger of Data and Models for Carbon Sequestration Assessment at Ameriflux Sites." Total funding will be $161,740 over 30 months.

Elizabeth Anderson of the Fuqua School of Business has received an award from the Skoll Foundation for a project entitled "Scaling Social Impact: Mental Models, Existing Alternatives, and New Opportunities." Total funding will be $148,000 over 20 months.

Harold U. Baranger of Physics has received an award from the National Science Foundation for a project entitled "Electronic Properties of Nanostructures (Supplement)." Total funding will be $18,000 over 10 months.

Charles M. Becker of Economics has received an award from the National Science Foundation for a project entitled "American Economic Association Summer Program and Minority Scholarshiop Program." Total funding will be $360,000 over 35 months.

Bernhardt of Biology has received an award from the University of Maryland for a project entitled "National River Restoration Science Synthesis Scientific Project, Phase II: Collaborative learning to enhance the scientific success of river restoration." Total funding will be $74,001 over 48 months.

Leslie M. Collins of Electrical Engineering has received an award from the United States Army for a project entitled "US Army Autonomous Mine Detection Sensor (AMIS) STO Program Algorithm Development Support (supplement)." Total funding will be $118,642 over 9 months.

Bruce H. Corliss of the Marine Lab has received an award from the National Science Foundation for a project entitled "Ship Operations: R/V Cape Hatteras." Total funding will be $7,429,874 over 60 months.

Haiyan Gao of Physics has received an award from the Department of Energy for a project entitled "Medium Energy Physics Program at Duke University." Total funding will be $344,000 over 33 months.

Kenneth C. Hall of Mechanical Engineering has received an award from the University of Maryland for a project entitled "NIA Work Force Planning Team." Total funding will be $15,000 over 2 months.

Jeffrey L. Krolik of Electrical Engineering has received an award from the Office of Naval Research for a project entitled "Autonomous Wide Aperture Cluster for Surveillance (AWACS): Adaptive and Collaborative Signal Processing." Total funding will be $750,113 over 60 months.

Total funding will be $35,000 over 12 months.

Total funding will be $220,000 over 12 months.
