ORS staff members from Funding Opportunities and Office for the Protection of Human Subjects are available to consult individually with campus researchers. A few of our most frequently requested topics are listed below, and we are also available to discuss other topics as needed. 1. Locating Research Funding

Individual training on locating funding is available to Duke University faculty members, students, staff members, and postdoctoral researchers. Departments and schools may also contact us to arrange for workshops. For more information, contact Judith Andersson.

2. Human Subjects-Based Research

Campus-based investigators may also schedule appointments for assistance in navigating the IRB protocol. For more information, contact Holly Williams-Stafford.

3. Nuts and Bolts of NSF FastLane

For researchers planning to apply for National Science Foundation funding, we offer this hands-on approach to using FastLane, the NSF online application process. For more information, contact the ORS Grants & Contracts staff member who covers your department or school.
